OPENING LAMP BLACK PATINA the patina gives an extraordinary depth to the metal and contrasts with the beautiful bright warmth of the interior.

After making the bespoke light for George's Passivhaus, Nick and I thought an affordable small production version would be an interesting challenge. Pivoting the petals nearer the centre made operation of the lamp much lighter and smoother, see video below to view the lamp in action. Each shimmering leaf is lovingly polished to reveal its beautiful beaten surface and to amplify the glowing reflections of the light.

The opening mechanism works by pushing a sprung ball bearing into a groove a simple system which has taken years to perfect.

Lights come with a standard E27 lamp holder but they can also be wired for American bulbs  if needed.
