Applied with syringe, reed pens, sticks and pieces of rubber the ink almost has a life of its own and the element of chance is, to me, the most exciting part of the process, not being in total control and not knowing exactly how the final piece will turn out, but being surprised and sometimes delighted how the ink has run to produce a final image."

Playing around with different possibilities with the ink created this brilliant lampshade. Heavy patined steel angle base with Japanese paper shade.

All drawings are unique so will differ slightly.

Height 45cm width 38cm. Maximum 14 watt E27 bulb. May also be wired for American and Euro electrics.
