Applied with syringe, reed pens, sticks and pieces of rubber the ink almost has a life of its own and the element of chance is, to me, the most exciting part of the process, not being in total control and not knowing exactly how the final piece will turn out, but being surprised and sometimes delighted how the ink has run to produce a final image."

MONOLIGHT TALL HAWES

An ink drawing is given shape by applying it to a clear Polycarbonate sheet and bending it into a steel frame. This is held aloft with a beautiful block of Douglas fir timber. The lamp measures 80cm high.

All drawings are unique so will differ slightly.

Maximum 20W LED bulb. LED bulb supplied with the lamp.
