Applied with syringe, reed pens, sticks and pieces of rubber the ink almost has a life of its own and the element of chance is, to me, the most exciting part of the process, not being in total control and not knowing exactly how the final piece will turn out, but being surprised and sometimes delighted how the ink has run to produce a final image."

MONOLIGHT HAWES4 SMALL WALL

A beautiful ink drawing on Japanese paper is given form by applying it to a curved polycarbonate sheet. The wall light gives a wonderful luminesence that washes gently onto the wall. An artwork is held within an ingenious frame of waxed steel that is set off the wall to allow the light out but still hide the bulb. As easy to hang on the wall as a picture, with trailing lead also available for hard wiring. Height 22cm.

All drawings are unique so will differ slightly.

Maximum 20W LED or energy saving bulb. LED bulb supplied with the lamp.
