moonlight shop, aluminium lamps shades that project the warm and mysterious glow of moonlight.

A new collection of lamps that reflect something of the mystery of moonlight. When aluminium is hand beaten on the anvil the smooth surface of the silvery metal is transformed into beautiful textures, if this is then lit with a warm white bulb and double reflected within the shade it results in a soft warm glow that illuminates your room.

This lighting installation was commissioned to illuminate a staircase around which the house was originally conceived. The wildflower chandelier was expanded to a series of larger shades, a full sized model produced and brought to site for fine tuning. Once all was agreed upon, cones were laser cut, brush polished and individually hand formed, the one metre timber ceiling rose was crafted by a master cabinet maker.
